The Area Navigation (RNAV) Visual Approach (VA) to RWY 24 into San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) may involve associated hazards:

• Pilots’ concentration on the approach to SBD potentially diverting attention away from aircraft operating in the vicinity of Redlands Municipal Airport (REI).

NOTE- Air Traffic Control can only provide advisories based on known or observed traffic.

• Wake turbulence encounters for aircraft in the vicinity of REI produced by aircraft landing SBD.

Pilots operating at both airports should remain vigilant and situationally aware when executing the SBD RNAV VA to RWY 24 and when operating in the vicinity of REI.
