Expect to depart RWY4 via the CRONA1 Departure for all IFR clearance requests.  If unable to depart RWY4, aircraft may depart VFR and obtain an IFR clearance from Albuquerque ARTCC, when Holloman Approach is closed.  VFR departing aircraft may not be able to contact Albuquerque ARTCC until 10,000MSL or higher.

Be advised if departing VFR, numerous restricted airspaces, high terrain and Class D airspace in the vicinity.
