Subject:  Special Air Traffic Procedures during the 2022 SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo/Fly-In

This Letter to Airmen advises pilots of the Special Air Traffic Procedures
to be utilized during the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo/Fly-In at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport
 April 4, 2022 - April 10, 2022.

These procedures include reduced standard separation requirements that will only be authorized during dry runway conditions.

1. Simultaneous Same Direction Operations:
Light weight single and twin engine propeller driven aircraft will conduct simultaneous, same direction operations with other aircraft categories on parallel runways with centerlines separated by 400 feet instead of 700 feet with instructions provided by Air Traffic Control utilizing visual means and/or two way radio communications.

2. Line Up and Wait: Air Traffic Control may authorize an aircraft to Line Up and Wait on the runway for which an aircraft has a landing clearance.

3.  Reduced Standard Runway Separation: Reduced runway separation may be applied between departures, between a departure and an arrival, and between an arrival and an arrival.
