Subject: Obtaining IFR Clearances from Atlanta Approach

In order to obtain or cancel IFR clearances in the most efficient manner at airports within Atlanta Large TRACON airspace, we recommend three methods. When an operational control tower is not available:
- Contact Atlanta Approach via the published Clearance Delivery Frequencies (published frequencies [121.0, 128.57, and 119.8] are used by ATC for airborne traffic. During high volume hours please refer to option 2 or 3).
- Contact Atlanta Approach during operational hours at 678-364-6131 for the following airports:
- 20GA, 3RU, 5GA3, GA04, 6A2, 7GA7, 89GE, CCO, CNI, CTJ, CVC, D73, FFC, GA10, GA62, HMP, LZU, MGE, PDK, PUJ, RYY, VPC
- WDR, 52A, 3J7, AHN, JCA, GVL (A80 OPERATIONAL HOURS 0615-2200)
- Contact Atlanta Approach during operational hours at 678-364-6132 for the following airports:
- 06A, 47GA, 4GA5, 48A, 51A, 53A, 5A2, 5A9, 6A1, 7A3, 7A5, 82A, ACJ, AL05, AUO, CSG, DBN, EUF, GA63, LGC, LSF, MAC, MCN, MLJ, OKZ, OPN, PIM, PXE, WRB (A80 OPERATIONAL HOURS 0615-2300)
- Contact Flight Service Station (FSS) via RCO (if available). FSS can only accept IFR cancellations via telephone. To obtain a clearance via telephone contact Atlanta TRACON or Atlanta Center 770-210-7692.
