Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center will provide IFR separation to VFR aircraft making practice approaches at the locations listed below.

The clearance for Practice Instrument Approach does not relieve the pilot of visual flight rules nor does the clearance authorize the pilot to execute the missed approach procedure unless specifically requested and approved.  Advise Denver Center before making any deviations to maintain VFR.

This separation service will be provided on a work load or traffic permitting basis.  It is not mandatory and pilots are not obligated to use it.  Once pilots have been advised the service is not available, they have the option of flying the practice approach or waiting until the IFR separation service becomes available.  If pilots elect to continue, the controller will neither approve nor disapprove the approach but will advise them to maintain VFR conditions and issue traffic as appropriate.
