Starting on December 16, 2016, Denver Center will be utilizing a Clearance Delivery line via recorded telephone for pilots departing the Garfield County Regional Airport (RIL), Rifle, Colorado.   This clearance delivery method will be used periodically throughout the ski season on peak ski country traffic days.   The intent is to reduce frequency congestion during these high volume traffic periods.  

The NOTAM’d times of use will be 1700z-2100z on the days the clearance delivery line will be used.  Due to expected high volume, pilots should call at least 30 minutes prior to departure time via phone at 303-651-4811 to receive their departure clearance.  Check NOTAM’s frequently for current information.
